Later, in our Uke-and-Tori games, the hood caused total darkness and deprived us of any orientation. Hooded, every step could be a wrong step. But gradually, we both became strongly oriented towards meditation-based sessions. For us, restraints and hoods became the first useful ingredients of meditation. Eventually, the ingredients became indispensable tools. That's where we are now. The length of a session depends on how it fits into our daily lives and professional work. 30 minutes can usually be organised without much difficulty, one or even two hours at weekends. The achievement of meditative silence is encouraged by a timer that does not drop the keys under any circumstances before the agreed time has elapsed.
